Full Professor of Business Administration at the European University of Rome, Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor, with extensive governance experience across listed companies, public bodies and cultural institutions.
He advises clients on corporate, tax and business matters, with a particular focus on M&A transactions, business valuations, reporting and internal control systems. He also serves as arbitrator and court-appointed expert in civil, criminal and administrative proceedings and was a member of the OIC commission responsible for issuing Italian accounting standards.
He has served on Boards of Statutory Auditors and supervisory bodies of leading Italian and international organisations, including Leonardo, Telecom Italia, Il Sole 24 Ore, ASTM, Aboca, Poste Vita, Artigiancassa (BNP Paribas), Confindustria Toscana Centro e Costa, Airbus Helicopters Italia and the Opera di Santa Croce (Florence).
He teaches:
- “Financial Statements and Accounting Standards” and “Business Valuation” at the European University of Rome;
- “Extraordinary Transactions” at the University of Florence;
- “Financial Statement Analysis” at the Advanced Course of the Economic and Financial Police School of the Guardia di Finanza;
- “Annual Financial Statements” at the Higher School for the Judiciary, Court of Appeal of Florence.
He is Director of the International Business and Tax Centre (IBTC) and of Culture for Impact – Research Center and Practice Lab (C4I).
He has authored monographs and more than 100 academic publications on business administration, business valuation, M&A, governance and sustainability. Selected publications include:
